Coopers Brewery began, and is still, located in South Australia. The brewery was founded in 1862 by Thomas Cooper and is today Australia’s last remaining family owned brewery. Because Coopers is a viable brewery producing varieties of Pilsner, Dark Ale, Stout, and Lager, their brew kits rank among the best you can find. Coopers beer has been available in the U.S. since 1992 and the home brew kit has been in America since 1984.
Despite being designed and produced for home brew beginners, the Coopers brew kit mimics the “from scratch” brewing experience quite nicely. If you suspect that you will want to eventually grow beyond the restrictions of kit brewing into traditional brewing then this kit deserves serious consideration.
